"A rigid splint meant I couldn't feel my baby. This is so soft I forget it's on, and the 3am feed doesn't hurt anymore."

Hannah R.
info

Description

A soft support that holds the base-of-thumb joint while you lift. Not a rigid splint, so your hand still works.

Feel your baby, hold them, cradle them. Made for daily wear through the postpartum months.

Size Guide

Finding your size

Measure once. Takes a minute.

1. Measure. Wrap a tape measure around your palm at its widest point, below the knuckles, thumb relaxed out. No tape measure? Use a strip of paper or string, then check it against a ruler.

Measure your dominant hand. Each order includes a left and a right, so one size covers the pair.

2. Match your number:

  • Small/Medium: 7 in to 7.5 in (18 to 19 cm)
  • Large/XL: 7.5 in to 9 in (19 to 23 cm)

Between sizes? Choose the smaller one. A snug fit gives the best support, and the fabric gives a little as it settles in.

Real Moms, Real Relief

Excellent 4.8 / 5

  • "Better than the splint"

The pharmacy splint stopped the pain but I couldn't hold my son safely in it, so it just sat in a drawer. This holds the exact sore spot and my hand still works. I actually wear this one.

    Megan T., 29

  • "3am feeds don't hurt"

Every lift out of the cot used to shoot up my wrist. I started wearing it during night feeds and within a few days the sharp jab was gone. Wish I'd had it from week one.

    Priya K., 33

  • "I forget it's on"

So light. I can do up poppers, hold a bottle, everything. It's not the clunky brace I was dreading. Bought a second pair so there's always one in the change bag.

    Chloe W., 28

  • "It was never my wrist"

I'd bought two wrist braces that did nothing. Turns out the pain was right at the base of my thumb the whole time. This sits exactly there. Finally something in the right place.

    Aimee M., 31

  • "No cortisone"

My GP mentioned an injection as the next step and it scared me. I wanted to try something first. A few weeks of wearing this during the day and I've been able to keep managing it myself.

    Jess A., 35

  • "Real relief"

Not instant magic, but by the end of the first week the deep ache from carrying the car seat had really settled. I wear it any time I know I'll be lifting a lot.

    Danielle B., 39

    WHAT IT DOES

Supports the one joint that takes every lift

Scoop up your baby and the whole load lands on one tiny joint: the base of your thumb, called the CMC joint. A hundred times a day. It never gets a break.

The Cradle holds that spot steady, so the next lift doesn't shoot up your wrist. And because it's soft, your hand still works like a hand should.

    • Takes the load off every lift
    • Fingers stay free to hold your baby
    • So light you forget it's on

    HOW IT WORKS

Here's why a wrist brace never fixed it

That sharp pain when you lift feels like your wrist. So that's where every brace goes.

But the real problem sits an inch lower, at the base of your thumb. That's why they never worked.

This is the same joint behind De Quervain's tenosynovitis, often called Mommy Thumb.

The Cradle sits right on the CMC joint and holds it while you lift. Fingers stay free.

A step you can try first

    Before the needle, there's this

For a lot of moms, the pain quietly heads one place: a cortisone shot.

It's a real option. It doesn't have to be the first one.

Support the joint while it settles, and give yourself a gentler step to try first.

      Still Not Sure?

      check_box

Will I still be able to feel and hold my baby?

Yes, and that's the whole point. It's soft and low profile, so your fingers stay free. Feel your baby's skin, do up snaps, cradle them close. Nothing like a rigid splint.

      check_box

Is it bulky? Will it get in the way?

No. Most mums forget it is on within minutes. Slim enough for feeds, changes, and under a sleeve.

      check_box

Can I wear it all day and during night feeds?

Yes. Wear it when it hurts: lifting, feeding, carrying. Plenty of mums keep it on through the night. Off whenever you like.

      check_box

Will it actually help with Mommy Thumb?

It supports the joint and eases the load when you lift and grip. Most mums find the daily motions get easier. It is a support, not a cure, so if the pain is severe, see your GP.

      check_box

What if it doesn't work for me?

You're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Wear it for two months, and if it isn't right, send it back for a full refund. You keep the free guides either way.
